Tanja Kolarov

Miss Kolarov has been a science teacher for over 15 years in Hong Kong, SAR and Dubai, UAE.  In fact, she herself is a third culture child, having grown up in Hong Kong, SAR.  Miss Kolarov has her qualifications in BSc Biochemistry, PGDE Integrated Science and Biology as well as MEd in Science Curriculum Development and Assessment. Her philosophy for learning is that each student is unique, and each student learns in a different way. One of Miss Kolarov’s jobs as the HoD is to ensure that science in MYP and DP is taught with hands-on and minds-on experiences, where students are active learners and not passive receivers of education.
